Vice President JD Vance is blaming republicans' midterm election losses on the war in Iran.

Key Republican-held seats flipped, including historic victories in Texas, South Carolina, Kansas, and Michigan, where Abdul El-Sayed became the state's first Muslim senator. Vice President JD Vance attributed the Republican defeats to inflation, the war with Iran, and foreign policy decisions. Panelists Alec Tyson, Geeta Mohan, Seema Sirohi, and Pramit Pal Chaudhry analyze the broader political fallout, noting growing public anger over rising energy and living costs. The discussion highlights how a Democrat-controlled Congress will intensify scrutiny, launch inquiries, and challenge executive decisions over the final two years of Trump's term.
