The Denver & Rio Grande Western owned four steam powered rotary snowplows. Two of those now reside at the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. In 1923, Rotary OY was the last snowplow purchased by the D&RGW. It was based in Alamosa, Colorado and used on the area east of Cumbres Pass. Prior to the 2020 50th anniversary event the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, Inc. partnered with the railroad to get Rotary OY back in running order.
